David: Thanks for reaching out. First, welcome to the Gearhead community!
Professionally, there have been a few stretch goals over the years. One example would be the work my team and I did at Perrier Group of America. The company was growing at faster than 100% per year after we launched our small bottle water packaging.
We had a highly disparate culture that was going to limit our growth. We had neither the consistency to attract the talent we needed, nor the depth of leadership talent to support 100%+ annual growth or to compete against the best companies in the industry.
Our team had to quickly shape a much more productive, cohesive culture and change our recruiting and selection, talent management, learning and development, compensation systems to enable the company's success.
Let me open it up to the Gearhead community -- what stretch goals have you all undertaken?
