SEAN T. RYAN
Sean is a world-class speaker, consultant, trainer and executive coach. For 30 years, he has helped build sustainable organizations that thrive in constantly changing circumstances. He has helped clients build lasting, loyal relations with their customers and helped them unleash the passion and capabilities of their employees.
Sean believes that every organization today faces “perpetual whitewater” in its competitive environment. In 2001, he founded the WhiteWater Consulting Group to help organizations achieve and sustain outstanding performance through unleashing the passion and capabilities of its people.
Sean brings a unique, “real world” approach to his consulting efforts gleaned from his years as a practicing leader. Over his 23 years as a consultant, Sean has taken two significant “sabbaticals” to apply what he has learned and practice what he preaches.
Sean acted as the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Callaway Gardens and Resort near Atlanta. At Callaway, he led the turnaround of the business, dramatically improving operating performance, guest service and employee morale, commitment and performance.
During an earlier sabbatical, Sean was Vice President of Learning and Organizational Development at the Perrier Group of America (now Nestle Waters North America). At Perrier, he led a large-scale change process to dramatically alter the values and culture, improve individual and team performance, improve leadership capabilities, and build effective measurement systems and management tools. His efforts helped the company to more than quadruple its revenues and enabled it to effectively compete in the rapidly growing and changing bottled water industry.
Sean earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree at Georgia Tech and a Master of Business Administration at California State University at Fresno. He has served on the boards of both profit and not-for-profit organizations.

Tom Reeves has 20 years of experience leading and managing change. Beginning his career as an environmental, health & safety professional at General Electric, Tom was immediately tasked with leading a culture change. As his career progressed, Mr. Reeves led increasingly more complex organizational changes, first in health & safety and later in a wide variety of business functions. In 2013, Tom founded Engaged Change Solutions to help organizations change for good while developing leaders and teams. Mr. Reeves holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Science in Loss Prevention & Safety, both from Eastern Kentucky University. Additionally, he holds a Certificate in Principles and Practices of Organizational Development, an Executive Coaching Certification, and the Certificate in Business Excellence, all from Columbia University. Tom lives in Lewis Center, Ohio with his wife, Stephanie, and their rambunctious Boston Terrier, Gillie.

Tracey has been an associate with WhiteWater International Consulting Inc., since 2009.
In her work with WhiteWater, Tracey has developed and co-developed several training programs that serve as foundational courses for a number of clients. She is involved with the entire course development life cycle. Tracey regularly conducts pre and post learner assessment; course evaluation; pilot testing, and preparing internal trainers to succeed as course instructors. In addition, she helps clients to create blended learning solutions and online learning programs.
Tracey previously served as the Director of Learning and Development for Nestlé USA. Her resume also includes The Walt Disney Company, Perrier, Southern Bell, and Great Western Bank (now Chase). Within each of these organizations, Tracey worked as an Instructional Designer, Facilitator, Coach and Leader.

William J. Ryan, PhD is the Principal Consultant with Ryan Consulting, LLC working with organizations to engage, develop, and retain their workforce using learning strategically. His unique skillset includes academic, private industry, and government experience as VP of Education/CLO, VP of Technology/CIO, National Leader of Curriculum & Technology Solutions and Executive Director of a nationally known online, competency-based initiative.
Dr. Ryan has a demonstrated record of corporate and industrial management experience beginning as an instructional designer to leading performance support and instructional design teams globally including government contracts (Department of Energy), high technology (IBM & Westinghouse), and health-related industries including home health care and insurance (Humana). He continues to lead the application of innovative and contemporary learning methodologies identifying appropriate learning technology (augmented reality, simulations, microlearning, blended & cohort learning, etc.) to meet the need of the learner and his extensive work in competency-based design and development has been at the national level. Bill has consulted with a range of organizations such as Delta Faucet to develop a comprehensive talent staffing and development plan, Blue Circle Leadership developing a blended online program in leadership development for multicultural women and consults with educational institutions expanding or developing CBE degree programs providing curriculum review and professional development. He completed an implementation strategy site and paper for a Hiring for Competency model for the National Retail Services Industry and a workforce development initiative for the state of Tennessee focused on and developing alternative paths to leverage educational resources to help businesses retain and develop their workforce and completed a research analysis for the Community College System of California as it prepared for the implementation of a virtual, online institution. Currently he is working with a clinical start-up focused on improved clinical techniques for infants born with Neonatal Addiction Syndrome (NAS), and developing a blended leadership program for a multi-state manufacturing corporation combined with developing alternative talent development strategies aligning newly defined career pathing aligned with learning ladders. He is introducing a “Workflow Learning” model in collaboration with Vignettes Learning that identifies techniques to help workers think, fix, solve, and improve problems and learn while working.
